Andhra Pradesh what we know was divided into 2 parts, one is what we called Telangana state was formed in the year 2014 and the remaining state is still known as Andhra Pradesh. The capital of Telangana is Hyderabad. As the state was divided into 2 parts so the RTO. Telangana RTO was also formed in 2014 which comes under the provisions of section 213 of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988. The main objective of the Telangana Transport Department is to bring in the enforcement of the provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, enforcement of Telangana Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963.
When it comes to road safety Telangana ranks 8th and because of this only out of 100 road accidents 29.7 people died in 2019. The major cause of road accidents is road safety violations and because of this Telangana Transport Department has taken strict action who violates traffic rules. As per the New Motor Vehicle Act of 2019, the person will be issued e challan if and when they defy any traffic safety rule.
To reduce the traffic violation across the state Telangana traffic police has come up with a Penalty Point System if any of the people found exceeding 12 points in 2 years of span his/her driving license will be suspended.

Telangana Traffic Police has updated the traffic fines and penalties to curb the traffic violations in the city. The traffic fines have been increased to discourage the violation of traffic rules. Refer to the below table:

Step 2: Enter the Challan Number if you have and enter the captcha you will be able to see the details.
Step 3: In case you don’t have the challan number you can click on Vehicle Number and also keep your chassis number or Engine Number to get the details.
Step 4: After entering the above details if no fine box appears then there is no challan against you.

Step 2: Enter the Vehicle Number along with the captcha details and click Go
Step 3: Check the status of your E-Challan
Step 4: Select the box you want to pay E-Challan for.
Step 5: Select the payment gateway
Step 6: Select the payment option.
Step 7: Enter your E-mail ID
Step 8: Make payment.
Step 9: Note down the reference number for future use.
Step 10: Enter card details and select submit.
